Is ProWeigh+ Lite genuinely free or are there hidden costs?

ProWeigh+ Lite is completely free with no licence fees, no time limits, and no obligation to upgrade later. The free version supports standard weighbridge weighing for up to five user accounts, with basic reporting included. Optional installation, calibration, and support services are available separately if your operation requires them.

Which weighing indicators and scales does ProWeigh+ support?

ProWeigh+ interfaces with most weighing indicators on the market, supporting single-deck and multi-deck weighbridges, axle weighing weighbridges, group axle weighers, and weigh-in-motion systems. Advanced device support is available in the higher versions of the platform.

Does ProWeigh+ produce legally compliant weighbridge tickets?

Yes, ProWeigh+ produces tickets that comply with the South African National Road Traffic Amendment Act 64 of 2008, including compliant axle weighing tickets and SOLAS compliant tickets for container weighing. Standard, axle compliant, and SOLAS compliant ticket formats are all supported out of the box.

What training is available for our team who use Sasco ProWeigh+?

We provide free training on the ProWeigh through our WS-01 operator course. It is delivered online so your team can complete it at their own pace, covering day to day weighing, ticketing and reporting. The course is available in English, French and Portuguese and ends with an assessment to confirm readiness.

What versions of ProWeigh+ are available beyond Lite?

ProWeigh+ comes in several versions to match different operational needs, from Basic for straightforward weighing through to Professional and Automation for advanced multi-deck and fully automated deployments. Yes, ProWeigh+ integrates directly with major ERP platforms including SAP, Sage, and Syspro, plus reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI and QlikView. Integration runs through ProWeigh Business Connector for direct database synchronisation, or ProWeigh Web Connector for cloud-based connections in distributed deployments.

What languages and regional settings does ProWeigh+ support?

The standard ProWeigh+ licence ships in English with South African permissible loading values configured by default. The Regional Functionality option adds Portuguese and French language support, plus permissible loading values for various Southern African countries, making ProWeigh+ suitable for cross-border operations.

What hardware can be integrated with ProWeigh+ Automation?

The Automation version supports a wide range of weighbridge hardware including booms, traffic lights, electronic display boards, and cameras. Vehicle identification can be handled via ANPR cameras, RFID readers, barcode scanners, or QR code readers. ProWeigh+ coordinates these devices automatically through the weighing process.
